Ye, new character. I felt like it wouldn't be the same just changing Felicity's whole personality to get her out of her fighting spirit, so I think I'll make her an Personal NPC character for this one, if she manages to get in.

Owner: Hannah (Age 15)
Personality: Melanie is a very shy hamster, who never really liked to leave her cage, up until recently. She leaves her cage now, her curiosity from her books finally giving her the motivation to leave and explore and meet new hamsters. She's been told about so many dangerous things about the outside world that she has grown a deep fear for everything, though she's since proven most of these dangers to be false by her books. The only thing that Melanie likes to do is to read and write. Melanie is quite good at reading human language (though she still stumbles with bigger words and difficult phrases) and has taken to writing herself. She also has terrible abandonment issues.
History: Melanie is 2 years old. She was given to her owner, Hannah, when the girl turned 13 and she was only just old enough to be taken away from her mother. Hannah was absolutely in love with Melanie...for a time. Soon, after 2 weeks, Hannah started to see Melanie as more of a nuisance on her time. Always needing to be fed, always needing new water, always having to clean out her cage. Always, always had to make a big mess with her wood chips in the middle of the might. Hannah soon started to ignore Melanie, being lucky enough to remember feeding her (a job now handled by Hannah's mother or little brother.) This is where Melanie's abandonment issues rooted from.
Melanie lives in a small house above her owner's mother's bookstore. It is called 'Golden Hamster Books'.
She is good friends with a hamster named Clover, a pretty golden hamster who lives in the apartment beside their bookstore/home.
Hobbies: Hannah loves to read and write. She has many favorite books that she reads whenever her owner brings a new one from school, or when Hannah's mother or brother bring up a book from the downstairs store. Or, if she's feeling a little brave or in desperate need of a new book, she'll run down there and hide in the bookshelves and read for hours on end.
Melanie is also big on sketching and singing. Sketching is something that Melanie does in her past time, drawing still-life objects, like a chair, or her hamster wheel. Melanie has a very sweet voice and loves to sing, but because of her shyness, she doesn't sing in front of others.
Likes: Reading, drawing, writing and singing.
Dislikes: The Vet, Cats, Dogs, Rats, Rabbits, and Walnuts

- She has about 4 other siblings, all in the same litter. She only keeps in touch with her brother, however, since he lives the closest.
- She has a terrible stutter when talking to other hamsters. It IS a speech impediment, and gets worse if she gets nervous and/or stressed out, or put in a stressful situation and/or environment. It gets so bad, she can't talk and the only noises she can make a strained squeaks and wheezes.
- She chews on her claws and pencil do cope with stress and nervousness.
- Melanie doesn't have a stutter when she sings. She has a sweet, smooth, silky voice when she sings, but no ham-ham other then Clover has ever heard her sing.

Looking at Melanie as a whole (adding on to what I said earlier), I feel sorry for the rough history, but her traits are what make her a fun character to do. The stutters will definitely attract Chico's curiosity and he can accept her as normal for that.
